SHIPPING and Handling

All our meats are fully cooked, vacuum-sealed, and shipped in a cooler with dry ice.

We only use UPS for perishable items.

All shipping options include a $23.00 materials fee for the cooler and dry ice.

We only ship Monday - Thursday.

We do not schedule deliveries for Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

All out-of-state orders placed after 12pm on Wednesday will ship out the following Monday unless Next-Day Air is selected.

For non-holiday weeks, the last ship day for each of the UPS services is as follows:

Next-Day Air.....Thursday

2nd-Day Air.....Wednesday

3-Day Select.....Tuesday

Ground.....depends on projected transit time

Your order needs to be placed at least one day before the ship date.

GROUND SHIPPING

We do NOT guarantee orders shipped with UPS Ground. Ground orders can take up to 5 business days before they are considered late. The dry ice will only last for two or three days. If the destination is in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana, there is a good chance the package will arrive in one or two days, but it is not guaranteed. If the destination is elsewhere (or if you want a guaranteed transit time), we highly recommend 2nd-Day Air. Basically, the further you get from Texas, the riskier using Ground becomes. The customer assumes responsibility for the condition of shipments using UPS Ground. We do not refund or replace Ground orders unless they are late, lost, or damaged.

REQUESTING SHIP DATES / SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Unless you request a later delivery, we will ship your order the next available date that will work with the UPS service you purchased. You can request a specific delivery date in the Order Notes box before you submit your purchase, but keep in mind the restrictions listed above. You can also leave special instructions such as gift messages that you want us to include.

HOLIDAY SHIPPING

UPS does not deliver on Thanksgiving or Christmas. Heavy shipping volume around holidays and bad winter weather can cause delays. Placing your order to arrive right before a holiday can be risky. All our meats freeze well, so we encourage you to order early.
